Introduction:

We are looking for Contracts Manager to manage complex acquisitions and relationships with customers across the defence sector. This role will have a focus on contract strategy and leading on negotiations with customers.

You will need to hold an MCIPS qualification or be working towards this

You will have the opportunity for remote working in this role, however some on-site work in Portsmouth and travel
one day per week in Somerset will be required.

My client is leading global defence organisation who manufacture and procure goods for major military projects across the world. Due to the nature of this role, you must hold an active SC Clearance to be considered for this opportunity.**
Key responsibilities:

Leads evaluation of multiple contract packages
Act as the main interface for external customers and suppliers across the business
Required to be influential in negotiation plan including preparation, strategy, appointment of roles and the approval process
Ensures Terms and Conditions compliance are met
Lead Negotiator on Terms and Conditions for nonstandard agreements
Leads the issue and analysis of RFQs/ITTs including multi criteria selections
Ensure timeliness of all contract actions including DCAs, contract summaries and contract close

Skills & experience:

5+ years in a contracts management role
MCIPS or studying towards this
Strong negotiation experience is required
