We are currently looking for a Team Leader to join our Soft Insulation department

This position is responsible for the safety and productivity of all production employees within the department.

Additionally, the Team Leader role is accountable for ensuring that production schedules are followed and executed in a timely manner and withinall quality parameters.

This is a working TL role supporting production when necessary.

Full Time, Permanent


Team Leader - Soft Duties:


  • Ensure the safety and productivity of all employees in the work area
  • Enforce all safety and processing procedures
  • Carry out and review risk assessments on all processes within the work area, including development of safe systems of work
  • Report accidents and near misses daily and conduct Safety investigations as required
  • Maintain a clean and safe work place in accordance with the 5S protocol
  • Enable effective communications between management and operators
  • Ensure effective robust training and coach existing employees (including updating skills matrices)
  • Enable effective communications between management and operators
  • Update and maintain SOP's and VAD's
  • Ensure periodic checks such as TPM/Process tests are completed on time and kept up to date
  • To support the Company's continuous improvement programme
  • Perform related duties as assigned or as the situation dictates
  • Support NPI activity for new projects
  • Manufacturing parts & processes

Team Leader - Soft Requirements:


  • Ability to encourage employees to look for process improvements and implement them
  • Ability to motivate others to meet demands in line with the schedule
  • In depth understanding of established SATE values and strategy
  • Ability to manage time between manufacturing & team leading
  • Basic understanding of computers
  • Good Oral and Written communication
  • Basic maths skills

Education and Experience:


  • Previous experience working within a manufacturing environment
    (Essential):
  • 2 Years' experience in a leadership role
    (Essential):
  • MRP/Syspro experience
    (Desirable):
  • Basic MS Office
    (Desirable)
