Recycling Plant Operator

Leicestershire County Council are looking for a Recycling Plant Operator to work at two different sites in Leicestershire.


The position is to work in the recycling centres, assist customers with recycling and operate plant, such has loading shovels, telehandler and forklift trucks.


You will be required to have or willing to gain a Loading Shovel certificate together with your own vehicle and driving licence.

Also, a forklift truck licence would be preferred but not necessary.

This position also requires you to complete heavy lifting and have good customer service skills.


The position is to work between two sites, Whetstone and Kibworth, therefore you may be requested to work on bank holidays or after normal hours of work.


Working hours:

  • During the winter at 9am 4pm, during the summer 9am 7pm.

Days of work:

  • Saturday and Sunday, plus 3 days in the week.

Wages:
- £13 per hour
