Description

Are you a MIG welder looking for a new role? Do you live locally to Harwich? Are you available immediately? If yes, then please get in touch as this could be a great opportunity for you

We are looking for a MIG welder to join a varied welding and fabrication company in Harwich, Essex. The company undertake a variety of work on site and within the workshop, including carrying out repairs and maintenance.

Starting salary would be between £13-15ph but will be dependent on previous experience. Hours are 08:00-16:30 Monday to Friday with all overtime paid at 1.5x rate

Duties include:

Previous MIG welding experience
Able to weld mild steel, up from 5mm+
Previous fabrication experience
Read & working from engineering drawings independently
Site work as required

Anyone who has previously worked out on site with knowledge of agricultural repairs would be of extreme interest, and MMA welding isn't required but would be an advantage.

This role will lead to a permanent role following on from a successful probation period.
