Are you a budding designer looking to kick start your career in construction design?


We're delighted to be partnering with a fabulous local client who has 25+ years' experience in container hire, and new & used shipping container sales.

They're recognised as one of Britain's leading container suppliers, and renowned for excellent customer service and professionalism.

Due to growth the business they're looking for a new team member to join their container conversions division.

The main responsibilities of the role include assisting the workshop team with daily duties in the repair, preparation and conversion of shipping containers to varying end uses including:

  • Site Offices
  • Canteens
  • Welfare Units
  • Workshops
  • Bespoke conversions
  • Equipment housings
  • Plant rooms
  • Accommodation units


A background in the construction, engineering or manufacturing is preferred but not essential, as their expertise in the sector will be passed on.

You will need to be dynamic, energetic, personable, and highly organised to deal with the varying projects their conversions team are involved in.


Daily Duties will include:

  • Responding in a timely and accurate manner to enquiries
  • CAD Design across various projects using AutoCAD 2023 & Sketchup programs.
  • 3D Client presentations
  • Management of the product portfolio designs.
  • Job costings & Client Quotes
  • Updating the company CRM Systems
  • Investigating new materials & Products
Creation of job packs for the workshops

Salary:
£18,000.00-£20,000.00 per year
