Laboratory Analyst (ICP-MS)

Salary up to £28,000 depending on experience plus additional cost of living pay rises in 2023

Based in Liverpool

Working 9-5 Monday to Friday (flexible hours on offer)


A multinational Contract testing company are looking to appoint an additional Laboratory Analyst with experience in ICP-MS to their team in Knowsley as part of growth plans.

Salary will reflect experience.

Any additional experience in Method Development would be highly desirable.

Duties:


  • The main focus of the role will be the daily operation of an ICP-MS spectrometer for the analysis of inorganic samples sample prep will be done by another team. Any additional ICP-OES experience would be beneficial.
  • Be expected to provide maintenance and troubleshooting of the lab equipment.
  • Analytical method development and validating instrument methods.
  • Work with an existing team of Analysts to provide a compliant service following ISO 9001, 14001, 17020, 45001 and 17025 standards.

Qualifications and Experience:


  • Ideally a minimum of 3 years experience in ICP-MS (Thermo or Agilent).
  • Experience of method development and validation.
  • Ability to work under own initiative and flexible to prioritize workload depending on changing client needs.
