Description

Working closely with our Creative Director and Art Director, you will support ongoing projects with a dynamic and engaging level of visual communication, not only adhering to the iconic Doodles style but also pushing the boundaries of creativity within the Doodles world.

• Collaborate with the Creative Director and Art Director to understand project requirements and translate concepts into visually appealing illustrations. This includes initial development, storyboarding, character + environment design.
• Create highquality, original illustrations that align with Doodles' unique style, shape language and brand identity.
• Maintain organized working approach within the Doodles workflow.
• Respond to inhouse & client feedback in a professional & timely manner.
• Develop and maintain a strong understanding of current design trends and techniques to continuously enhance the visual appeal of Doodles' projects.
• Meet project deadlines and milestones, while maintaining the highest level of quality and creativity in your work.
• Collaborate with animators & designers in NY and LDN, as well as with freelancers both onsite & remote.

• Proven experience as an Illustrator, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse character and background art. Demonstrated experience working with a variety of illustration styles and techniques both print and digital media.
• 2 + years of experience within an Animation studio or Design environment.
• Proficiency in industrystandard illustration software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar tools.
• Comfort using vector tools within an industrystandard illustration software. Excellent handdrawing and sketching skills and the ability to adapt and work within the established Doodles style.
• Strong understanding of composition, color theory, and visual storytelling. Knowledge of animation principles and the ability to create illustrations with animation in mind.
• Familiarity with Graphic Design,UX/UI design principles and an understanding of how illustrations can enhance user experiences.
• Knowledge of emerging trends and innovations in the illustration and design industry.
• Authorization to work in the United Kingdom.
