There is an exciting opportunity for a part qualified ACCA/ ACA / CIMA or equivalent Accountant to join a leading Sheffield Transport business for a 12 month contract to cover maternity leave, the role sits in a developing division with plenty of scopeto get involved in growth agenda for the area as well as a number of projects.

The role sits in an existing team reporting into the Finance Manager with line responsibility for 2 people.

The key duties and responsibilities include:
Partnering with operational managers ensuring control over costs and budgets
Ledger management including period end reconciliations
Preparation of weekly & monthly reporting
Support on the delivery of annual budgets and customer forecasts
Working closely with internal stakeholders
Balance sheet preparation and reconciliation
Involvement in site projects

In order to succeed in this role you will demonstrate good relationship building skills, a proactive and challenging approach along with a keen eye for detail and financial controls.
