Our Trust is going through a period of change, and we have some big plans to improve how we communicate both internally and externally.


As an integral part of the wider communications and engagement team you will support the delivery of internal and external messages through social media, newsletters, our website and intranet.


This is a new role in our team, and we are looking for an all-rounder with experience in development and editing digital and multimedia content including photography, film, design and production of content that can be adapted across different platforms.

As the Digital Content Officer, you will be responsible planning, creating and evaluating digital content for our key communications channels that informs engages and connects with a wide variety of people.

This will be both written and audio visual.

Interviews are due to be conducted on the 25th August 2023


Your role will also include answering enquires and providing information and advice to internal and external stakeholders in a professional and positive manner.


This role mainly site based at St Mary's Hospital in Newport but will also involve being out and about across the Trust on the Isle of Wight and you will be required to work flexibly.

As you will be working with stakeholders across the whole organisation and persuading them to work with you, you will need excellent interpersonal and influencing skills.

You will play a key role in a fast-paced, dynamic, and experienced Communications and Engagement Team, managing competing priorities and deadlines and support delivery of the Communications and Engagement team's KPIs, planning and evaluation.

Responsibilities:


  • Planning, developing and delivering and analysing digital content which engages and informs stakeholders (website, social media, analytics).
  • Play a key role in a fastpaced, dynamic, and experienced Communications and Engagement Team, managing competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Work to deadlines on integrated campaigns, timely and within budget.
  • Influence others to understanding and to collaborate in digital communication.
  • Support delivery of the Communications and Engagement team's KPIs, planning and evaluation.
  • To establish and maintain positive working relationships with a range of Trust team members, at all levels, to ensure key stakeholders are consulted and communications are factual and representative.
  • To develop and deliver timely, relevant, and engaging communications and campaign content to internal and external audiences.
