Aqumen Recruitment are currently recruiting Cable/Machine Operators for our client based in Doncaster DN5 who are the largest British owned general wiring manufacturer in the UK.

They are looking to expand their well-established team with enthusiastic ProductionOperatives to start immediately. With room to grow and progress within the company now is an exciting time to join the team.


Permanent opportunities available based on performance and attendance after 12 weeks.

£9.50 ph day shift

£10.45 ph night shift

O/T at Time + 1/2

Must be available to work the following shifts:
Week 1- Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday 06:00 - 18:00

Week - Monday Tuesday Wednesday 06:00 - 18:00

Week 3-Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday 18:00 -06:00

Week - Monday Tuesday Wednesday 18:00 -06:00

Key Role Responsibilities of the Position

  • Setting up and operating winding machines
  • FULL TRAINING PROVIDED
  • Adjust and clean machines
  • Complete paper work where required
  • Quality checking the product
  • General house keeping
  • Adhering to onsite health and safety
  • Work experience in a production setting.
  • Experience of working under pressure.
  • Adequate literacy and numeracy levels for the role.
  • Good communication skills for liaising with colleagues.
  • Reliable and punctual.
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Happy to Lift up to 25KG due to nature of product.
  • Willing and able to work shifts when required
  • Happy to work on both days and nightshifts as per rota
  • Can commute to DN5 for all shifts.
