An excellent opportunity to join a boutique Accounting/Tax Advisory Practice in central London in their search for a Business Operations & Administration Intern (with good tax exposure).
The firm's clientele is primarily high net worth individuals, their businesses and family offices.Responsibilities:
- Providing support to the Operations Manager with various ad hoc tasks and activities as required.
- Closely monitor and track internal processes and procedures following full tax and accounting cycle for clients by using internal systems.
- Daily status update and reporting to managers.
- Document and update internal processes, manage post/letter collection and filings and maintain data in internal systems.
- Maintain fluid communications amongst team members regarding tax compliance deadlines.
- Manage team calendar, events, and schedules.
- Mange client information and data.
- Assist the team with client and HMRC related queries and communications.
- Respect client confidentiality and sensitive business information and report any issues which may affect business relationships
Requirements:
- Fresh graduates with 1 year work experience or less.
- Accounting, tax, business, economics, or legal related degree background is an advantage but not essential.
- A selfstarting individual with the ability to identify issues, use initiative to solve problems and communicate.
- Strong organisation and prioritisation skills with the ability to manage multiple competing deadlines.
- Intermediate computer skills including MS Office such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Willing to work in a multisite environment (home, office, client site).
- Fluent speaker of Chinese Mandarin or Cantonese.
The highlight of the role
- Internship for 6month fixed term contract with the potential to turn into permanent tax and/or accounting role afterwards.
- Company sponsorship to study towards AAT, ACA, ACCA, CTA or other related qualifications if transitioned into accounting/tax role.
- Exposure to interesting and highprofile business cases which can speed up career growth.
Salary:
£22,000.00 per year
