Altum Consulting are excited to be partnering with an industry leading media company in their search for a Transactional Finance Manager.

This is an excellent opportunity for the right person to join a well established, multinational brand as a senior memberof their finance team.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will take ownership of the AP/AR and credit control functions. This is an integral part of the business and requires a fresh perspective.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the recruitment, development and managing of staff
Ensure that the processing of multicurrency invoices and payments are carried out accurately and in accordance with company policy and procedures as well as audit requirements;
To prepare a department objective plan, including timetables and company objectives.
Execute weekly payment runs in line with the companies payment terms
Reconcile the monthly balance sheet accounts for creditors, debtors and all various bank accounts
Raise sales invoices in accordance with SLA
Cash allocation for the Aged Debtors is done within the day of cash receipt
Monthly customer statements are sent out.
Ensure all debt is chased up
Preparation of monthly management accounts, including analysis and commentary on material variances against budget, forecast and previous year
Look to implement process improvements leading to a more efficient department
Ad hoc projects
