1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant


A lovely Ofsted outstanding primary school with an ARP is looking for bright and energetic graduates to join them for an immediate/January start.

There are several 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant roles available. All vacancies are full time, term time only, for an ASAP start until July 2023.


The school have had several new starters who are pending EHCPs for their diagnoses of Autism, Global Developmental Delay and other complex SEN.

These pupils also have learning difficulties and some pupils also have English as an additional language, therefore the inclusion of Speech & Language Therapies within their weekly timetable is very important to their development.


If you're an aspiring Educational Psychologist, Speech & Language Therapist, SEN Teacher then this role would be ideally suited for you.


_Do you think you have the ability to work as a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant? Are you available now for a TRIAL day? _

  • Supporting pupils across KS1 and KS2 with SEN on a 1 to 1 basis
  • Speech interventions
  • Helping to plan and coordinate specific learning programmes for your pupils
  • Working alongside the SENCo, SALT & Occupational Therapist
  • Full time role starting immediately
  • Longterm, for the full academic year until July 2023
- £85-£100 per day


Person Specification - 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant (Speech & Language Focus)

  • Graduates with a 2:1 or above
  • Education/Psychology/ or speech related degrees
  • Some previous childrelated/ Volunteer work/ SEN experience is required
  • Available immediately and DBS holder would be ideal
