Key Responsibilities for Head of People and Talent:
- Lead and oversee the People & Talent team, focusing on talent acquisition, specialized recruitment, and operational duties across the employee lifecycle, underscoring the strategic importance and impact of the team as a proactive and visible support network.
- Cultivate essential relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, defining talent attraction requirements, prioritizing peoplecentric approaches, and positioning the organization as a preferred employer.
- Formulate and execute resourcing, talent acquisition, and retention strategies aimed at attracting and retaining toptier talent.
- Source and integrate effective processes and systems, including a tailored HR Information System (HRIS) and Applicant Tracking System (ATS), to streamline transactional tasks, standardize processes, and enhance employee engagement.
Personal Specifications for Head of People and Talent:
- Possess at least a Level 2/GCSE qualification in English and Maths or equivalent.
- Hold a degree and/or professional qualification, or possess commensurate experience.
- CIPD Level 5 qualification and membership in the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development.
- Accreditation in a variety of psychometric tools would be advantageous.
- Demonstrated familiarity with current Employment Law, upcoming legislative changes, and relevant case law.
- Proven expertise in developing and implementing strategies, policies, processes, and procedures.
- Understanding of recruitment practices within the education sector, including regulatory compliance and workforce dynamics. Familiarity with educational funding allocation and safeguarding protocols is desirable.
Pay:
£47,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
