There is an outstanding opportunity for a SHEQ Advisor to join a major civil engineering contractor in Hampshire. The role will be site based on a £8m ground works scheme.

The main function of the role is to support the operational team with all health, safety, environmental and well-being matters throughout construction of the works.

Duties will include:

Assist the operational team to ensure the required training is delivered
Develop health, safety, and environmental campaigns to promote improvements across the projects
Control and organise the health and safety documentation
Assist the Health and Safety Director to develop effective solutions.
Assist in producing health and safety plans, procedures that are inline with the company and clients specifications.
Support the site teams to ensure compliance with all requirements stipulated in the construction plans.
Support investigations of close call, near miss and other site incidents
Provide reports, presentations, and information to the operations team
