Description

Due to growth, our client is looking for a Helpdesk Engineer to join their team in Medway City Estate in Rochester.


The engineer will primarily be responsible for 2nd line technical support and will be expected to visit client premises to provide on-site support when required.

They believe in investing in their employees, and actively encourage their engineers to complete professional training and certification.

In addition to Helpdesk duties, there is the potential to be involved in IT projects, cybersecurity services and softwaredevelopment, which form part of their larger portfolio of services.


They also believe in a healthy work/life balance, and whilst this is an office-based role (as this encourages camaraderie, communication and teamwork), they allow for home working where required to accommodate people's personal circumstances.


Salary Range:
Up to £30k per annum dependent on experience


This is a full-time, permanent position, working Mon-Fri 9am-5:30pm.

Helpdesk Engineer Requirements:

Essential

  • Minimum 2 years' experience working on an IT Helpdesk
  • Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Windows Desktop and Server
  • Experience of supporting Microsoft 36
  • Networking knowledge and experience
  • Full clean UK driving licence (for manual vehicle)
Nice to have

  • Microsoft Professional Certification
  • Experience of deploying and managing Azure solutions
  • WatchGuard certification and experience
  • Experience of ConnectWise
  • Experience supporting Apple Macs
  • Create and manage scripts using PowerShell and Automate RMM tool
