PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

1) To assist residents with dressing, undressing, hygiene and toileting.

2) Help residents with any problems relating to mobility, physical and mental disabilities, incontinence and help in use and care of aids and personal equipment.

3) Help care for residents during sickness and assist in the provision of total care.

4) Help care for residents who are dying.

5) Help in the promotion of mental and physical activity of residents through talking with them, taking them out, and sharing their interests and activities.

6) To make and change beds, tidy rooms and do light cleaning, empty and clean commodes.

7) Inspect, launder and mend residents clothing.

8) Set tables and trays, serve meals, assist or feed any resident needing help, prepare light meals and wash up, tidy and clear the dining room.

9) Answer buzzers, the door and telephones, and to greet visitors.

10) Take part in handover of report, staff and residents meetings and in training activities as directed.

11) To work within the Registration Requirements of the Home as set down by the charity

12) To work within the Policy Guide-line as set down by the charity - see folder in Office.

13) Such duties as may reasonably be required.


Salary:
£10.09 per hour


Schedule:

• Day shift
• Night shift

COVID-19 considerations:
All staff are required to wear face masks throughout their shifts. Lateral flow testing continues for all staff and visitors.
