We are recruiting on behalf of a leading Healthcare Finance Provider and Broker.

Founded in 2005, the business has quickly established itself as the key provider of finance to Dentists, Vets, Opticians and Solicitors.


Due to the expansion of their business, they are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their expanding team, based at their Head Office in Kettering on a permanent, part-time basis.


Accounts Assistant - The Role:


Accounts Assistant - Main Duties:


  • Responsibility for maintaining the purchase ledger by processing of supplier invoices through Sage and updating the paperless filing system
  • Keeping the Sales Ledger updated by processing sales invoices through Sage and maintaining the computerised filing system
  • Reconciliation of multiple bank accounts
  • Maintaining integrity between the customer management system and the accounting system by daily journals and reconciliations
  • Assisting with Credit control
  • Analysis and posting of company credit card payments
  • Assisting in preparation of monthly management reports
  • Any other ad hoc accounting and admin duties / tasks as and when required within the finance department

Accounts Assistant - Qualification / Experience

  • Experience of using Sage
  • Sound knowledge of Excel
  • Experience of working in an accounts department is preferable
  • Quick learner
  • AAT qualified, part qualified or being willing to work towards accreditation
  • Able to communicate at all levels
  • Proven ability of working to deadlines
