Part-Time hours over 3 days) Based In Southgate Moorings Podiatry Department.


Podiatry Department Administration:
We are pleased to announce an Administration Vacancy role within our Countywide Podiatry Service.

The post holder will support Podiatry admin team and the team of Podiatrists across the County. There are 2 posts, one will be based at King Street, Stroud in the Podiatry Department. The 2ndwill be based at the Podiatry Department at Southgate Moorings in Gloucester.


The role is extremely varied and requires the ability to deal with a wide range of duties across administration and reception.

Good customer service skills, a working knowledge of Microsoft Office or similar, good keyboard skills and a polite telephone manner is required.

Applicants should also evidence the ability to be calm under pressure and a willingness to undertake and learn new tasks.

This role reports directly to the Band 3 Administrator.

Main duties of the job

  • To Receive and Register Patient Referrals onto System One and maintain The Electronic central outpatient diary system. Being responsible for the full utilisation of available appointments and booking Patient appointments.
  • To manage the reception of patients/relatives/carers who report to the department where appropriate.
  • Answering telephones, dealing with queries and taking/relaying messages to include booking and cancellation of appointments and clinics, informing staff as appropriate.
  • Filing, scanning, photocopying.
  • Registering and Booking of patient appointments, inputting and monitoring the pathway to include registration onto electronic Systems SystmOne.
  • The undertaking of specific tasks as designated by senior staff, Team Leads and the Business Support Supervisor in order to support the Podiatry team.

Podiatry Department Administration:
We are pleased to announce an Administration Vacancy role within our Countywide Podiatry Service.


The post holder will support Podiatry admin team and the team of Podiatrists across the County and will be based at Kings Street, Stroud & Southgate Moorings, Gloucester Podiatry Departments, there may also be a requirement on occasions to work at the Podiatry admin locations countywide.


The role is extremely varied and requires the ability to deal with a wide range of duties across administration and reception.

Good customer service skills, a working knowledge of Microsoft Office or similar, good keyboard skills and a polite telephone manner is required.

Applicants should also evidence the ability to be calm under pressure and a willingness to undertake and learn new tasks.

This role reports directly to the Band 3 Administrator.


This post requires the post holder to be able to undertake all statutory and mandatory training and post holders must be able to undertake physical interventions.

Fitness for physical intervention will be assessed by Occupational Health.

A valid UK driving licence plus the use of own transport for business purposes is essential.
