Digital Content Creator (Part-time, 3 days a week)
Job Description - Shared Health Foundation
Shared Health is a not-for-profit community interest company whose aim is to reduce the impact that poverty has on health.
Our team is passionate about addressing the health inequalities across Greater Manchester and pilots innovative projects to meet the needs of our communities in the most deprived areas.
Role Responsibilities:
- Plan and create on-brand and compelling content for the Shared Health website, social media platforms and internal communications. This will include videos, the podcast, infographics and images.
- Keep the Shared Health website up to date.
- Coordinate the planning and delivery of exciting content around key events, such as
- Write and distribute press releases, engaging local and national press and other media.
- Work with NHS partner organisations to assist in producing high quality digital content such as e-learning video courses.
- Attend regular team meetings.
Essential
- Ability to create video content, podcasts, infographics, and update websites from a brief.
- Knowledge of Adobe Premier Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva and InDesign
- Basic knowledge of Wordpress
- Knowledge of social media platforms such as Twitter and Instagram.
- Ability to be a self-starter, creative, enthusiastic, a people-person and a team player.
Desirable
- Understanding of health inequalities and poverty in Greater Manchester
- Previous work or volunteering experience in the VCSE sector.
- Technical experience of producing podcasts (although technical skills can be trained on the job)
Salary and length of contract
£21,000 per annum for a one year contract.
Benefits
35 days holiday entitlement including bank holidays (pro rata)
Employer pension scheme
22.5 hours per week (part-time), working with other part-time Digital Content Creator.
Flexible working hours. Our office is based in Oldham.
