Description
The post holder will work as part of a team of trainers to deliver Safety Intervention Training previously known as MAPA - Management of Actual or Potential Aggression) to Trust employees.


The post holder will be responsible for developing, delivering and maintaining a high standard of training in a classroom setting and across a number of workplaces both in and outside Birmingham Community Health Care bases.

The training will be delivered to all levels of staff.

To provide assessment of competence for individuals within the workplace.


Trainers will be responsible for developing and updating courses in accordance with best practice and current legislation that is both compliant with the Regional Mandatory Training Passport, NHSLA standards, CQC and course specific standards outlined by relevant professional body.

Trainers will keep accurate training registers to assist the OLM team to maintain employee learning records.

To evaluate competency of all Trust staff on training courses to negate risk and ensure legislative compliance.
