Receptionist Job in Christchurch

Thursday & Friday 9am - 5pm with potential to work another day from Poole if required or desired.

Dovetail Recruitment are pleased to be working with a client in Christchurch who are looking for a new Part Time Receptionist to join them.

They are a highly empathetic company who work closely with the local people to provide them with excellent service. Their team are approachable, down to earth and caring.

Duties and Responsibilities for the Part Time Receptionist:

Meeting and greeting patients as they arrive, making them feel welcome
Ensuring that the office procedures are followed and maintained with patient notes being updated on the electronic system accurately and promptly
Ordering any equipment / stock required
Booking in a follow up appointment for the patient
Preparing the notes ready for the following week/days' appointments being sure to speak to the appropriate senior member of staff of any specific needs

Knowledge and Experience:

Empathetic and caring approach
Experience within a customer facing position, ideally as a Receptionist
Highly organised

Salary & Benefits:

- £19,500 pro rata (Circa £10 per hour rising to £10.42 in April 2023)

Hours of Thursday & Friday 9am 5pm
1⁄2 hour lunch
22 days holiday + bank holidays pro rata increasing to 25 days pro rata after 2 years of service
Contribution to eye and hearing care

As the Part Time Receptionist, you will be the first friendly face people see, and will be there to meet and greet patients and visitors while comforting those who are nervous, and making everyone feel welcome.
