Contract to start ASAP until with a possible extension.


A range of flexible working and hybrid working options, including flexi-time, four regional offices and home working dependent on service requirements, with the opportunity to work from home two to three days a week.


We are excited to be seeking a motivated and enthusiastic temporary HR Operations Lead Officer for our Recruitment team to cover the maternity leave of the permanent postholder.


You will supervise the recruitment workstream which provides an efficient and responsive recruitment advice and guidance service to managers and staff.


The postholder will oversee the day to day running of the recruitment workstream and its range of activities which support the smooth running of the wider HR Operations service.


This includes supervising and co-ordinating the recruitment team to support the organisation in recruitment and effective appointment of employees and workers, ensuring all verbal offers of employment, statutory and safer recruitment checks like DBS and references and any job specific requirements are completed and appropriate evidence is retained on file.


You will be part of a larger HR & OD service and will work collaboratively with your colleagues across the service to ensure continuous improvement in our HR&OD service delivery.


About you


You will have experience of supervising a team preferably within a recruitment function, hold a level 5 foundation certificate in HR together with a good understanding of how to add value within an organisation.


You will also be a strong team player with a collaborative work style with the ability to engage others within a team together with excellent communication skills and the ability to present complex information clearly.

£17.57 per hour
