You will work within our brand-new central Edinburgh office as a Business Support Administrator, playing a key role in our recently established Operations function.

This role provides the chance to learn, grow and develop several onward career paths within 2i and beyond in the fields of Operations, IT and Finance.


Areas/Responsibilities:


Day to day Facilities Management

  • Room booking system owner and coordinator.
  • Manage and maintain office supplies.
  • Liaise and manage relationships with stakeholders and suppliers, including Landlord, cleaner, fruit delivery, plant providers, etc.
  • Open mail and scan if required.
  • Answer the main office phone and direct calls/pass on messages.
  • Facilities usage analysis to support our Carbon emissions strategy.
  • Financial outlays related to office analysis and reporting to Finance Manager

Finance Administration

  • Petty cash management.
  • Processing purchase ledger invoices.
  • Purchase Order Creation.
  • Sales invoice drafts.
  • Other Adhoc finance admin activities

IT Administration

  • Responsible for ordering all IT equipment and ensuring the asset register is updated and maintained.
  • Order/coordinate/purchase necessary assets.

Events Administration

  • Events administration including being present at events.
  • Conferences administration, including ordering catering, room booking, etc.
