The ideal People & Culture Coordinator will:
- Have at least 1 years' experience in a fast paced, hospitality venue in a People & Culture role. A background in hospitality is not essential but would be an advantage.
- Be able to provide an effective and efficient administrative service within the People & Culture department. Working to deadlines whilst managing a high volume, challenging & varied workload, using own initiative and excellent time management skills.
- Oversee issues related to employment and employee relations.
- Aim to improve people policies, processes & practices.
- Support the Talent Acquisition manager with recruitment & onboarding, maintaining employee records and provide support to all employees.
- Maintain employee records in compliance with employment law and conduct biannual audits.
- Conduct induction for new starters.
- Conduct exit interviews and report back to management.
- Support the team to any departmental training conducted to develop staff skills and potential.
- Track and inform management of end of probation periods, appraisals, and development plan reviews.
- Draft routine correspondence & document templates
- Support the people and culture manager with employee relation matters.
