Description

Cover Crew Ltd are currently recruiting for a CNC Machinist for their Aberdeen based client.

Duties:
Understand work instructions relating to job specific requirements, which will include reviewing technical drawings and specifications.

Finishing workpieces to the required standard and performing quality checks.

Carry out machining requirements efficiently and be proactive to improve overall productivity.

Loading programs into CNC machines.

Loading workpieces into the machine safely.

Monitoring machining operations.

Performing minor maintenance tasks to ensure CNC machines function correctly.

Skills:
Competent of setting up and operating CNC lathes. Knowledge of programming. FANUC controls desirable.

Knowledge and competent in machining large and small complex components.

Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.

Ability to use key measuring tools.

Attention to detail and methodical approach.

Time served machinist desirable.
