An exciting opportunity has arisen enabling the recruitment of Community Care Workers' posts to join the new Citywide Response Team.
This a a newly formed team in Adult Social Care and will consist of a team manager, senior practitioner, social workers' and community care workers'.
The teams' aims are to support a stable and consistent response to referrals received for adult social care support; and to support the changing priorities and demands across adult social care.
Are you committed to supporting people to improve their health and wellbeing? Are you a positive, self-motivated person who is prepared to work differently, be accountable and willing to 'go the extra' mile?
You will need to have excellent communication and listening skills, with the confidence and ability to negotiate and challenge appropriately.
You will need to have an understanding of the Care Act 2014 and be able to implement a strengths-based approach to your work with customers, their carers and support networks.
You will be able to manage a case load independently, and work as part of a supportive team.Next Steps
