Description

A great new role for a Service Controller has come in for a multinational equipment manufacturer based in Biggleswade, to provide excellent customer service through clear communication with Field Service Engineers, ensuring parts and services are provided in a timely manner.


What will the right person look like?

What will you be doing?

  • Liaise with customers to schedule maintenance / servicing / repairs of machines.
  • Send correspondence to customers in a timely manner.
  • Communicate with Field Service Engineers to compile and prepare estimates for secondary work reported from services.
  • Ensure warranty / exchange and new parts are returned within a set time frame.
  • Raise sales orders and warranty orders.
  • Continually maintain close communication with Field Service Engineers, internal departments, suppliers and customers to keep them advised of the progress of jobs and any outstanding work.

Hours/Salary/Benefits
The Service Controller role is Office based, will work 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. Some occasional overtime may be required which may include Saturday mornings for which Overtime will be paid.
