  • To teach engaging and effective lessons that motivate, inspire, and improve pupilattainment.
  • Think carefully about the needs of your class and plan innovative and inspiring sequence oflearningto help childrenachievetheirgoals.
  • Use regular, measurable, and significant assessments to monitor pupil progress, review andsettargets.
  • Workwithcolleaguestoimprovemyownpracticethroughmonitoringand teamwork.
  • Ensure that all students achieve age related expectations and good level of development, or,if well below level, make significant and continuing progress towards achieving theirindividualtarget.
  • Useeffectiveteachingstrategiestosupportthosewithadditionaleducationalneeds.
  • Maintain regular and productive communication with parents, to report on progress,rewardsand consequences andallother feedback.

PastoralCare

  • Tohelppromoteandsafeguardthewelfareofallchildren.
  • To promote selfdiscipline, high standards of behaviour and positive attitudes on the part ofallstudentsandto implement policiesandprocedurestofosterthem.
  • To ensure that a high standard of care and behaviour is maintained through thedevelopmentandimplementationofbehavioursystems.
  • Toestablishandmaintainaneffectiveenvironmentforgoodlearning.

  • To fully support the life and work of the school.
