CREATIVE PRODUCER


Based in the heart of Shoreditch, we are an award winning digital content agency and media network who are currently on the lookout for a
Creative Producer to join our in-house production studio on a fixed term basis.


As a Creative Producer, you will devise and champion winning ideas that achieve the best standard in unscripted storytelling for digital and social content across a variety of programme genres, production techniques and distribution platforms, including providing insight and strategic work to drive creative standards in our cross-team responses.


This will include, but is not limited to, slate development for always-on digital formats, social campaigns, posts and one-off short form campaigns, vertical shows, interactive livestreams, documentaries and profiles, entertainment and competition mid-form shows, switch over and fandom formats and podcasts.


You will have experience working within a number of industries from content agencies, in-house creative studios for a brand, TV & digital production companies or publishers for unscripted digital and social originals.

We're looking for someone who is highly creative, can work independently but is also excited by collaborative ideation. Your ideas will focus on short and midform work for the Entertainment and Sport verticals within Little Dot Studios.

HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME

  • Developing, writing and pitching for original production opportunities both independently and also in close collaboration with other members of the Creative Production Studio and wider Little Dot Studios agency, with original creative development as your key focus.
  • Content strategy and creative and brand positioning including for social campaigns, viral social campaigns and Creatorled marketing campaigns and strategies.
  • Developing compelling narratives and storytelling arcs for social media campaigns, leveraging multimedia elements to captivate and engage the audience.
  • Exploring innovative ways to integrate usergenerated content, influencer collaborations, and interactive features into campaign narratives.
  • Your focus will be predominantly on nonscripted video and audio projects that are funded by brands.
  • Collaborate with inhouse agency for insights and strategy to inform and underpin creative development.
  • Brief and feedback on pitch collateral with the Little Dot Studios design team.
  • Work closely with production producers to guide cost and schedule project proposals.
  • Facilitate companywide or team specific ideation sessions.
  • Creative development experience to cover but not limited to
  • Live action, animation, Livestream and audio.
  • Present creative development internally and pitch to external clients.
  • Attend productions as creative lead when necessary.
  • Oversee post production for editorial and lead creative in absence of directors or edit producers when necessary.
  • Writing and presenting case study materials on projects you have overseen.
  • Support or lead in any creative marketing collateral eg showreels, presentations, social posts.
  • Run development calls with possible onscreen talent and their agents and coordinate with external partners, influencers, and agencies as needed for campaign execution.
  • Maintain relationships with key production crew and creatives like Directors, DOPs and casting producers.
  • Oversee the work of any freelance creatives engaged.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Skills matter, experience is useful, attitude is everything.

  • Excellent writing skills, a talent for problem solving and a keen eye for detail.
  • Experience working in a similar role at a content company, commercial broadcaster, advertising or media agency.
  • Familiar with Adobe Suite and a strong working knowledge of Photoshop and Premiere.
  • InDesign, Google Slides and Powerpoint are also useful.
  • An awareness and interest in the landscape of television, digital, audio and social platforms in the UK and US is important.
  • A proven track record for developing successful ideas quickly and methodically, keeping a cool head when unexpected changes to timelines or client feedback comes in
  • Ability to positively guide development sessions with those who might not be as experienced in suggesting and developing winning ideas.
  • You may be required to manage researchers and assistant creative producers during projects.
  • You will need to provide constructive notes and guidance to designers and editors for pitch materials and final projects.
