SEMH Cover Supervisor

Location:
Gainsborough


We are currently seeking a dedicated
SEMH Cover Supervisor for
GSL Education partnered school a full-time,
permanent position in
Gainsborough.

This role offers an
immediate start, with a daily rate of
£100 - £125.


As an
SEMH Cover Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the educational and emotional development of students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

This challenging yet rewarding position requires a resilient individual who can adapt to changing situations and provide stability and support for our students.


Key Responsibilities:

Lead Classroom Activities: Supervise and manage the classroom, ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment.

Support SEMH Students: Provide targeted support to students with SEMH needs, helping them to engage with the curriculum.

Develop Educational Resources: Prepare teaching materials and educational resources that cater to the diverse needs of SEMH students.

Promote Positive Behaviour: Implement behaviour management strategies to promote positive behaviour and engagement.

Collaborate with Staff: Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff to implement effective support strategies and plans.


Requirements:

-
Experience with SEMH: Previous experience working with SEMH students or in a similar educational support role is highly desirable.

Adaptability: Ability to adapt teaching and behavioural management strategies to meet the needs of SEMH students.

Strong Classroom Management: Skills in managing challenging behaviours and promoting a positive learning environment.

Teamwork: Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
