We are a building company based in Ross-on-Wye with building sites in Herefordshire, Gloucestershire and Monmouthshire.


About the role:

This building company is looking to hire a
Construction Estimator to join the team in preparing and submitting quotations for clients across a range of exciting projects.

From new builds and extensions to renovations, conversions and exceptional one-off builds, also maintenance works, to the successful applicant will get the opportunity to demonstrate their skills and experience to deliver accurate quotations in a timely manner, maintaining the high standards always delivered to clients.

Key responsibilities:

• Use the latest technologies on estimating software
• Researching the cost of items such as materials, transport, labour and equipment.
• Obtaining quotes from suppliers and contractors with a specified time frame.
• Assessing the risk levels associated with a project.
• Preparing and submitting quotations and details of costs for work to be done.
• Preparing tenders for existing clients and new contracts.
• Updating contracts as projects under construction.
• Monitoring the costs at the different stages of a project to ensure it stays within the estimated costs.

About you:

Experience of a similar role will have provided you with the knowledge and expertise to succeed in this role.

You will be a confident individual who is able to communicate effectively and efficiently with supplies, contractors, existing clients and new contracts.
