Lakeview Rest Homes Ltd, based in Lytham St Annes, is a privately owned Care group with 7 properties in our portfolio, which includes 4 care homes and 3 additional properties in the local area.

We are currently seeking a General Maintenance Operative to join our established team.

  • A sociable and caring personality, with the ability to build a positive relationship with the people in our care. (Experience preferred but not essential).

Your duties as Maintenance Person will be:

  • Ensuring Exterior and interior of our buildings and grounds are maintained to a safe and good standard, instructed & guided by your line manager.
  • Carrying out routine monitoring and small repairs on all Care Home systems. (training will be given).
  • Ensuring regular tests and checks are carried out and recorded. (training will be given).
  • Advising your line Manager on any potential maintenance problems requiring a specialist contractor for Example heating systems, refrigeration, electrics etc.
  • Complying with all aspects of Health & Safety at Work Act, to assist in the maintenance of a safe and healthy working environment.
  • Making sure tools and equipment are maintained and stored safely
  • Being the helpful person, when asked to look a problem.
  • Giving advice over the telephone and/or being prepared to be called out to the Home in emergencies when on call, one week in four.
  • Driving licence is essential.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£10.30-£10.80 per hour


Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability
