Performance Marketing and Retail Media are rapidly evolving and redefining the way we research, shop, buy and sell at HP.

In the digital e-commerce space, it is critical that HP and our retail and commercial partners are driving innovation and best practices for HP products by optimizing digital marketing and the online shopping experience across the 'digital shelf'.

Objective


Join the Partner Performance Marketing & Analytics team to enhance HP's ecommerce presence with key partners by developing strategies to boost qualified traffic and drive conversions on partner platforms.


Core Responsibilities


As a Performance Marketing Strategist in NWE, your role will be pivotal in enhancing the effectiveness of our digital marketing activities in collaboration with our top retail partners.

You will be responsible for optimizing co-funded digital initiatives across paid search, display, and social media.

You will have good understanding of using search engine marketing, retail media platforms, social media marketing, display advertising, programmatic, platforms such as Tik Tok, Instagram, Meta, Google, Microsoft ads, Criteo, CitrusAd.


Here are your key responsibilities:

Campaign Consultation, Management & Optimization:


  • Oversee and consult on cofunded digital campaigns to ensure optimal performance.
  • Continuously work with partners and their agencies to optimize campaigns to maximize return on investment.
  • Use datadriven insights to support decisionmaking and improve strategies

Tactical Strategy & Recommendations:


  • Develop and communicate cross platform tactical strategies to enhance campaign effectiveness and deliver business goals
  • Offer recommendations for improvements and optimizations.
  • Documentation of Best Practices & Ad Tech Trends:
  • Promote and implement best practices in campaign setup and management.
  • Train and guide teams in the effective implementation of these practices.
  • Stay informed about the evolution of ad tech platforms, features, and emerging opportunities.
  • Evaluate and suggest how new ad tech capabilities can benefit our campaigns.

KPI Benchmarking:


  • Define and benchmark key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success.
  • Monitor KPIs and make recommendations for reaching and exceeding goals.

Education and Experience Required:


  • Typically, 7+ years' experience in digital media and or performance marketing
  • Demonstrated experience in ecommerce and consumer retail
- extensive experience using search engine marketing, retail media platforms, social media marketing, display advertising, programmatic, platforms such as Tik Tok, Instagram, Meta, Google, Microsoft ads, Criteo, CitrusAd

  • BA or BS in Marketing, Consulting, Analytics or related field; MBA preferred but not essential.

Knowledge and Skills:


  • Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written), with the ability to present results of complex analysis compellingly to both technical and nontechnical audiences at executive level
  • Indepth knowledge of marketing principles, practices, tactics and tools
  • Ability to operate independently and to iterate quickly on data results, with clear plan to move forward
  • Strong interpersonal and project management skills; ability to collaborate with virtual teams
  • Ability to interface effectively with multiple levels of management and functional disciplines
  • Strong ability to influence and drive organizational change
  • Proven success driving data driven recommendations and action
