We are currently partnered with a national charity to recruit a HR Business Partner on a full time, permanent basis.

This is a remote position with occasional travel across the UK.

Salary on offer is between £33,500 to £35,500.

Description


As the HR Business Partner, your role purpose will be to provide Heads of Department and line managers with HR advice and support.

The HR Partner is a generalist role and is responsible for HR related queries and activities, ensuring advice is consistentand that all HR matters are dealt with promptly and reliably

  • Advising Heads of Department, line managers and employees about any aspect of employee relations including TUPE, disciplinary matters, grievances, dispute resolutions, long and short term sickness absence, redundancies, maternity/paternity, flexible workingand capability.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues in the wider HR, L&D team and with colleagues across the charity especially with the Talent Acquisition Manager to support Heads of Department and line managers on recruitment and selection strategies and with colleaguesin Learning & Development to support the identification of learning needs
  • Manage complex employee relations casework.
  • Engage with, and contribute to, projects that will enhance the delivery of an effective HR offer
  • Working with external stakeholders such as occupational health and access to work to support employee health needs.
  • Support and promote employee wellbeing, promoting use of the Employee Assistance Programme and other wellbeing initiatives.
  • Updating employment policies and procedures when required.
  • Dealing with various HR queries from employees throughout the charity and handling ER matters reliably and in accordance with legal requirements, best practice and Stella Values.
  • Informing employees of their rights and entitlements and keeping them up to date on any changes that are made.
  • Produce reports from the HRIS (iTrent) in order to support Heads of and other managers to manage their people.

Profile

  • Ability to manage complex ER cases 'end to end' especially TUPE and redundancy cases.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion and diplomacy.
  • Ability to make evidence based decisions that improve the impact on the delivery of HR practice.
  • Must be able to use a coaching approach when advising Heads of Department and other managers, to build on their understanding Is approachable and responsive to managers and staff

Job Offer
