Description

Supporting the day to day running of the service and ensuring compliance with all requirements of CIW and Commissioning via rostering, recording and reporting

Preparing staff rosters to ensure proper roster continuity in the delivery of care. ensuring these rosters, and all changes, are properly communicated to service users and care staff
Reallocating workers as necessary, to cover staff absences
Accepting changes to visits as requested by customers, their friends and relatives.
Accepting new packages from a variety of referral routes
Supporting business development by providing all relevant information and leaflets to prospective new customers and visiting them in their home to discuss their requirements
Investigating complaints, taking appropriate remedial action and if required reporting this to senior management and/or CIW
Ensuring that effective supervision and assessment of staff is carried out and that training needs are identified and met.
Taking an active part in on call and emergency care responsibilities as required.
Delivering personal and nonpersonal care to individuals if necessary
Forward planning for training days for care workers ensuring that there is adequate staff coverage so as not to cause interruption to daily operations
Supporting the preparation and review of care and support plans in line with the commissioned care plan
Overseeing the risk assessment of the needs of the service users in line with the service delivery
