Staff365 are recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Assembler / Tester on a permanent basis for our engineering client located in Telford.

Salary:
£ 16.52 phr + overtime, paid weekly

Hours of work:
Monday - Thursday 08:00-16:45, Friday 08:00-12:00

Responsibilities;

The primary role of the Fitter-Tester will be to support the Team Leader in facilitating the safe operation of the Telford assembly facility, ensuring that all mandatory Health and Safety compliance is strictly adhered to.

Ensuring Fitter-Tester responsibility daily Inspections are completed and documented.

Delivering the KPI objectives for the job assigned to in line with expectation.

Accountable for the delivery of the mechanical testing processes relevant to the tasks assigned to and trained for.

Experience required;
Fitting and assembly.

Hydraulic and pneumatic testing.

Fabrication skills.

Ability to read Engineering drawings including Mechanical and Pneumatic.

Fabrication welding (non-structural). (TIG/MIG)

Use of Hand and Pneumatic tools.

Forklift truck relevant to role.

Working at Height.

Crane and lifting techniques.
