Description

We have an opportunity for a Managing Surveyor to join our SES Commercial division based in Leeds to strengthen the team in preparation for additional workload planned in 2023.

The role will be responsible for the daily commercial management of the project supply chain in order to achieve business objectives on one or more projects including larger, more complex projects.

Key Accountabilities also include:

Produce commercial reports both internally and external to the Business
Develop project team performance, encouraging and ensuring that SES's main contractual obligations and/or strategies are executed and regularly reviewed
Ensure the timely receipt of quotations for materials, equipment and subcontract works and subsequently undertake commercial assessment of quotes received
Ensure the timely placement of orders on commercially advantageous terms to facilitate project delivery and ensure business objectives are met.
Responsible for ensuring the recovery of the costs/ value and time associated with change from SES's Clients to allow agreement of final accounts.
