Tradewind Recruitment Cardiff is recruiting Do you have any experience of working with young people in a carer/nanny/sports-coach/youth-worker/pastoral capacity? We are working with many schools in Blaenau Gwent, and they require Teaching Assistants andSupport staff with experience of working with young people of all ages and with Special Needs.

These Teaching Assistant roles might be ideal for you if:

  • You have previous experience of working with young people in any setting or capacity
  • You have a keen interest in Special needs or working in schools
  • You are available fulltime or parttime
  • You are looking for short and longterm work in Blaenau Gwent


We offer an in-house TA School, teaching you all about the roles and responsibilities of working in a school and have plenty of CPD Courses to support you throughout your role.


In return, you will have the advantage of working within reputable schools where there is lots of support from the SLTs and established SEN learning support teams.

You will gain great amount of knowledge about supporting students with additional needs.

You will be considered for future career development opportunities and will be able to move away from care settings to school settings.

  • Experienced Youth Workers or people with experience of working with children and young people
