We are looking for Family Mentors (Zero Hours) - evenings/weekends
Salary £12.58 per hour

The Position

Community360 are urgently looking for family mentors to work one to one with families and young people needing support to enable families with children, aged 8-19 years old to take part in new activities, to develop new skills and help to build their confidence with one-to-one support.

Complete the EFSS information & training session as required
Provide support the family for up to a maximum of 10 weeks for a maximum of 1 hour per week (initial assessment, may take slightly longer)
Calls can be made during the day, evening & weekends, whichever suits your allocated family
Professional experience of engaging in family support with vulnerable families
An awareness of the current health and social care climate
Relationship building skills to maintain and build positive connections with families
An understanding of how to work within boundaries
An empathetic and resilient nature
The ability to follow processes and policies in relation to recording and storing data and safeguarding
Great interpersonal skills
Adaptability to deal with a service that continues to change to meet the needs of the families it supports

About EFSS

The EFSS provides support to families which include school-aged children and young people aged 8 to 19 years across Essex.

The EFSS uses a holistic approach and encourages families to build on what is strong in their lives to work towards improved wellbeing and outcomes.
