We handle 20' & 40' Containers of Household goods and peoples personal effects either returning to the UK or Relocating worldwide.

We are a Relocation Company based in Cambuslang, Glasgow. - A Relocation company I hear you ask

What do we do? - We move people's personal property all over the world, as well as handling people's personal property who have decided to relocate back to Scotland or the United Kingdom.

WHAT TYPE OF PERSON(S) ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for someone reliable and a good timekeeper. The hours could be between 06:30 - 17:00 Monday to Friday.

Clean and tidy appearance

Work as part of a team and use your own initiative when working alone

Clean Driving Licence

Used to driving long distance as trips down south may be required on a periodic basis


WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING ON THE JOB?

THE EXPORT SIDE OF THE BUSINESS
You will be wrapping and packing people personal goods, either into packages or into cartons (training will be given). Must treat people's items with due care and respect.

Numbering and labelling boxes and packages correctly.

Taking an inventory of the items that have been packed and wrapped.

Returning the goods to our warehouse where they will be stored in wooden container or loading them into a 20' or 40' Container either at warehouse or at the customers residence.

THE IMPORT SIDE OF THE BUSINESS
Offloading 20' or 40' Containers either at customer Residence or at our warehouse

Check numbers off of bingo sheet to ensure the correct number of pieces are within the shipment.

If container is being offloaded at residence, we would place everything where the customer request, unwrap and set up of furniture, empty boxes onto a flat surface.

There is a requirement for basic assembly of furniture i.e. beds, coffee tables etc. Training will be given if required.


OTHER DUTIES
There may be occasions that you will be required to go away from home.

Driving all over the UK

Collecting and Loading of Vehicle for goods to be return to warehouse or delivered en route back to Glasgow.

Contract length: 10 months


Salary:
£10.00-£11.00 per hour
