Greenwellgleeson are working exclusively for a long standing manufacturing business based in Wasall.

This successful business are now looking for a Finance Controller to be number one at their Walsall site.

We are keen to get someone on board who is a great communicator and someone will be proactive for change.

This a great opportunity for someone who iskeen to make a real difference to the business going forward.


Job Duties:

  • Managing a small Team
  • Sales, inventory, and operations planning
  • P&L, cash forecasts and budgets
  • Processing Month End, bank reconciliations,
  • Deliver accurate site financial performance reports, variance to targets/ trends.
  • Payroll and associated HMRC requirements
  • Advice on financial performance
  • Create and maintain accurate costing records for monitoring profitability.
  • Monitoring and ensuring integrity of cost saving opportunities
  • Cash flow reporting and governance including forecasts.
  • Purchasing and Stock Control
  • Oversight of audit and technical accounting and research standards
Skills, Requirements, Qualifications

  • Newly qualified or final stages on studies or ACCA/CIMA qualified.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment desirable, not essential.
  • Strong interpersonal skills
