Description

As a Preventative Maintenance Coordinator, you will be responsible for undertaking asset surveys to identify planning dependencies (enabling work) for preventative maintenance tasks from the Maintenance Work Bank.

This will ensure tasks with these dependencies are planned and scheduled effectively to field personnel.


Job Accountabilities:

- _
Perform asset surveys within a geographical area for all business areas (Water, Wastewater, Bioresources and Wastewater Network)._

  • Identify planning dependencies (Access Equipment, Internal Permit to Work, Process Outage, Multiple Person job, etc).
  • Ensure asset details are correct within asset register for assets surveyed (Equipment Group Identifier, Alternate Component, Manufacturer, Model, Serial Number, etc).
- _ Manage the system input to completion within agreed timescales of the asset survey information (planning and Asset Registration Deregistration). This will require working with different departments responsible for the system input (Work Management, Asset data team)._

  • Work closely with the Work Management Technicians to ensure dependencies are logged and managed effectively within SLA.
  • Attendance weekly at Work Management Meetings and reviews as required
  • Managing and optimising workload to ensure maximum efficiency and coverage of assets

Knowledge and Skills:


  • A time served apprenticeship or equivalent, supported with academic qualifications ideally to HNC or minimum ONC equivalent in a relevant technical area
  • Technical competence to quickly identify planning dependencies (preferably mechanically biased).
  • Ability to build stakeholder relationships quickly
  • A desire to work towards flexi skilling leading to the NVQ Level
  • RCM Workbank Awareness
