Medical Support Offshore (MSOS) Ltd provides comprehensive, worldwide medical support for an extensive range of clients, based on land, at sea and in the air.
Due to continued expansion, we are currently seeking a Quality Administrator to join our team and play a key role in facilitating continued business growth and expansion.
We are looking for an individual with proven success in a quality/compliance based role and an ambition to continually develop.
The job will involve:
- Ensuring all business operations are GDP compliant
- Assisting with the maintenance of quality systems including deviations, CAPA's, change controls and risk assessments and the development and management of SOP's
- Working with the Quality Team and RPs to ensure the QMS is maintained and operated in compliance with current GDP requirements
- Performing internal and external audits of areas and activities which impact GDP to monitor the standards of compliance and ensure effective CAPA is implemented where necessary
- Coordinating and performing recall operations
- Continually monitoring and maintaining an awareness of current GDP requirements, assessing the impact of any updates, and ensuring any continual improvement activities to maintain compliance are implemented in a timely manner
- Providing GDP training to support initial and continuous training programs for staff
- Providing quality oversight of external service providers impacting GDP operations and ensuring that technical agreements are maintained in line with regulatory requirements and the scope of the service provided
- Ensuring effective document control of all quality related documentation within the business
- Undertaking quality system tasks in compliance with the requirements of EU GDP
- Maintaining data and providing quality metrics as required
Role Requirements
They must also be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and outstanding organisational and time management skills.
The role will require working closely with other departments with clear reporting to the licence holder and Responsible People within the business.
A good level of commercial awareness is essential as is a clear understanding of how the different areas of the business function together.
The successful individual will naturally be adaptable and flexible as required by the needs of the business.Other requirements include:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a quality role, ideally within the pharmaceutical Wholesale Distribution sector
- Experience across a range of medicinal products with varied storage conditions
- Thorough understanding of current GDP requirements
- Audit experience of GDP distribution facilities
- Demonstrable high standards and attention to detail
- Experience in the import and export of medical products
