We are looking for a
Healthcare and Access Partner who is enthusiastic and innovative to join us in our
Immunology Team to cover
Sough Wales to Gloucestershire regions within the UK.


About the role:


As the Healthcare and Access Partner you will be responsible for implementing sales, marketing and market access strategies to successfully launch a new biologic drug for the UCB immunology portfolio.


Who you'll work with

  • Tailor omnichannel tools to partner with and add value to Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) based on individual preferences
  • Facilitate the development of a broad and deep network of relationships within targeted accounts that may include a diverse base of customers such as clinicians, pharmacists,, hospital trust executives, nurses, specialist GPs and payer groups.
  • Will be the face of UCB's dermatology team in agreed accounts, responsible for delivering the business objectives for UCB's medicines to all relevant stakeholders in your Ecosystem.

What you'll do

  • Creating a positive environment for UCB's products through the implementation of the business plan in the defined time frame.
  • Identifying opportunities to drive early and rapid patient value in key accounts, new projects or added value services that would grow market or secure commitment to UCB products as well as bringing solutions to patients.
  • Researching, collating and analysing local and regional health economy information to support the development of a managed entry business plan for clinical areas.
  • Determining most effective approach to engage and develop solid relationships with the stakeholders.
  • Developing advocacy at high levels of influence e.g. KOLs, interface pharmacists, medicines management, regional procurement teams etc.
  • Maintaining an 'expert' level of knowledge of therapy areas, product, competitor scientific and business knowledge.
  • Working with the appropriate internal & external teams to secure product access & provide appropriate value proposition solutions

Interested? For this role we're looking for the following education, experience and skills:

  • Previous pharmaceutical or health care management experience e.g. ABPI examination.
  • A science degree or healthcare equivalent is a must.
  • A successful track record in key account/project management and influencing key health care customers.
  • Experience and knowledge of relevant disease areas i.e. Dermatology, Immunology, etc.
  • Demonstratable National and subnational NHS knowledge plus indepth disease, market and competitive intelligence expertise.
  • Experience and knowledge of funding pathways and processes for higher cost branded medicines.
  • Demonstrable top tier sales success in a specialist area, ideally in the high cost medicines arena and preferably within dermatology.
  • Experience of new drug launch within dermatology would be highly advantageous.
