Support Worker for Young People (SEND) - Horsham Area - Full-time - Start March (Notice Period Considered)

Pink Tile Education are working with a leading provider of residential children's services.

We're seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Residential Support Worker to join this growing team.

Description

  • Job title; Senior Residential Support Worker
  • Permanent fulltime opportunity (40 hours weekly)
  • Salary; £26,800 £30,450 per annum, with a £83 sleep in.
  • Clear career pathways into management positions

Key responsibilities

  • Performing household duties such as cooking, cleaning, laundry and encouraging the children to keep their rooms tidy
  • To use the home as a model to support and develop the social skills of young people
  • To care for children when they are ill and, where necessary, administer medicines, drugs, and treatment under the guidance of the child's medical practitioner
  • To organise and supervise recreational and leisure activities both in and out of the home to provide the children with an exciting and stimulating life

Essential Criteria

  • Must have their NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare
  • Have at least 2 year's experience within Residential Childcare and working alongside young people
  • Must have full UK work rights
  • Must have a full UK driving licence
