Operating for over 18 years, Thames Valley Surgical Services is an independent clinic that provides high quality Minor Surgery and Vasectomies.

We are currently looking to recruit a part-time nurse to work approximately 10-15 hours per week.

Main duties, tasks & skills required
Deliver a consistently high standard of patient care utilising evidence based practice.

Assist the surgeon in preparation of the clinic including setting up of surgical equipment.

Preparation and support of patients under Local Anaesthetic, providing direct patient care and reassuring patients throughout their procedure.

Document patients medical notes in a timely and accurate manner adhering to confidentiality.

Monitor and assess the patient condition, report changes to healthcare providers, and provide appropriate interventions.

Educate patients and their families on pre and post op care, treatment options, and self-care techniques.

Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe and clean environment for patients.

Excellent interpersonal skills to establish rapport with patients, families, and colleagues is a must.

Ability to prioritise tasks, multitask effectively, and work well under pressure.

Collaborate with clinic staff to ensure a seamless patient journey.

Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

£15.00-£18.00 per hour
