Description
We are looking for a motivated and positive individual with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

As a ward clerk for our Intensive Care Unit you will be the first point of contact for queries and play an essential role in supporting members of the multidisciplinary team.

You will be responsible for providing a warm, dedicated helpful friendly welcome to all relatives and visitors to the department.

You will have excellent organisation skills and ideally previous experience in working in a patient facing role, along with the ability to provide a great service in a sensitive environment.

People skills are an absolute must, along with taking pride in your reception area.

The role is key in day to day coordination of administrative tasks as part of a 7 day service. The hours for this post is 26.25 hours per week.

This role is based at St Marys' hospital although cross site cover may be required as per the service needs.

To provide effective and efficient clerical and reception support to a designated ward, ensuring that administration processes meet the needs of all service users.
