Description
Reprographics, QC, Proofing and Colour Management creation and control. They will adhere to all
procedures whilst maintaining best practice knowledge and experience of Pre-Press.


Key accountabilities:

Provide customers with colour accurate proofs in line with production requirements
Meet customer's delivery requests.
Produce good quality work using available technology and machinery.
Follow work procedures and work to recognised standards.
To understand pre-press production methods and press room requirements for lithographic print.
Liaise with and report queries and issues to Technical Services department.
Customer/supplier/departmental liaison.

Utilise all equipment provided as quality aids and to perform operator quality checks to files in accordance with BSI and ISO procedures.

General departmental administration duties
Ensure that all time entries are accurate and up to date.
Adhere to WestRock SHE guidelines.
Carry out daily/weekly housekeeping
Carry out any other reasonable task once adequately trained.

Taking reasonable care for the health and safety of self and others, and working with due regard to the responsibilities detailed in the company's Health & Safety Policy Statement.

All functions to be carried out in accordance with ISO 18001 environmental management system standard requirements with particular reference to the sites Environmental Policy, Policy Manual & relevant Works Instructions.

Raise any H&S concerns and issues you identify throughout the department, ensuring that employees are complying with the company procedures


Knowledge, skills and experience:

An interest of pre-press / artwork studio production methods
An interest in manufacturing environment i.e., packaging preferable.
Quality conscious.
