  • We are currently looking for a Governance Framework Consultant, to join a shortterm client project, conducting a review of OFAC compliance program framework elements._

About the role
Responsibilities for the role may include, but are not limited to:

  • Changes to Risk Framework with impact on OFAC sanctions, including management of self-identified issues (e.g., backlogs, system issues, etc.) to be pre-emptive and mitigate risk, including closed and open issues;
  • Status of Global Sanctions Action Plan (GSAP) items, including open actions that have been delayed or rescheduled;
  • Review and oversight of sanctions risk acceptances / dispensations;
  • Changes to Group Sanctions Policy and tools such as the Sanctions Advisory Tool (SAT);
  • Methodology used to ensure completeness of products/services, and business lines, including review of Products/Services Risk Assessment process for new products/services;
  • Methodology used to identify and assess inherent Sanctions risk for each Assessment Unit;
  • Methodology used to identify and assess control effectiveness through use of the
  • Operational Risk Framework, related metrics, including overrides to control effectiveness derived from Risk Assessments
  • Consideration of Payment Transparency Program and other prior issues/risks/open items;
  • Development and execution of actions required as a result of Group Risk Assessment (GRA) Sanctions High Residual Risk for US Sanctions

Who are we looking for?
Qualifications & Experience

  • Strong educational background
  • Degree (Masters would be an advantage)
  • Experience with Sanctions Risk Assessment processes
  • Knowledge of the regulatory requirements regarding an OFAC Compliance Program and experience drafting/reviewing Program documentation
  • Working knowledge of Fircosoft and/or Quantexa
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels of seniority
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with good relationship building and engagement skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint
